The San Antonio Spurs are reportedly nearing a deal with Donatas Motiejunas, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The veteran big man played in China with the Shandong Golden Stars for the past two seasons, averaging 25.2 points, 12.8 boards, 3.4 assists, and 1.7 steals per across 85 games.

Motiejunas was drafted 20th overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2011 NBA Draft but never played for the club. The 28-year-old's rights were traded to the Houston Rockets, with whom he'd spend four seasons.

Motiejunas's best season came in 2014-15 when he started 62 games, averaging 12 points and 5.9 boards.

The addition adds some frontcourt depth for the Spurs behind LaMarcus Aldridge and Jakob Poeltl.
