A 126-116 loss to the now 16-44 Chicago Bulls on Saturday wasn't enough to discourage Boston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving about his team's chances moving forward.

"You know, it is what it is. Like I said, I don't get frustrated about this stuff anymore," said Irving. "It's just part of the regular season. In the playoffs when we can plan for a team, prepare for a team, I still don't see anybody beating us in seven games."

Boston's top-five defense allowed the worst offense in the Association to drop a season-high 126 points, with Zach LaVine and Lauri Markkanen combining to score 77 on 29-of-49 shooting and 8-of-18 from 3-point range.

It was the Celtics' second consecutive loss and fourth in their last six games. When asked whether he was concerned about the team's struggles carrying over into the postseason, Irving said his team will be fine.

"Because I'm here," said the six-time All-Star, according to ESPN's Chris Forsberg.

Irving finished with a team-high 37 points and 10 assists in 41 minutes of action as Boston's record now drops to 37-23.

The Celtics will have a few days off before heading north of the border to battle the red-hot Toronto Raptors on Tuesday at Scotiabank Arena.
