Chandler Parsons is ready to play his first minutes since Oct. 22.

Memphis Grizzlies head coach J.B. Bickerstaff confirmed Thursday that Parsons will come off the bench Friday night against the Los Angeles Clippers.

"Chandler, when he's right and comfortable, has a skill set that can help us," Bickerstaff told reporters, including Chris Herrington of The Daily Memphian. "Our expectation is we've got 23 games left and we'll play him 23 games."

Parsons suffered a knee injury in the third game of the season and hasn't played since. Despite being medically cleared in late December, he's been listed as a healthy inactive.

The former second-round pick reportedly disagreed with the club over a G League assignment and elected to continue his rehab in Los Angeles.

"As much people probably think I was having fun, it wasn't that exciting," the 30-year-old said. "It's fun to be home and in L.A. in the offseason, but when you're at home on your couch watching your team, it's not that cool. I'm just happy to be back."

Parsons signed a four-year, $94-million deal with Memphis in 2016. He's been limited to 73 games in three seasons due to various injuries.

Before joining the Grizzlies, the Florida product split time between the Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks, averaging 14.3 points per contest on 47.4 percent shooting across 340 appearances.
