Regina King probably didn't expect to see her life flash before her eyes while attending the Philadelphia 76ers-New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night.

The Oscar-nominated actress was sitting courtside as 76ers All-Star Joel Embiid cleared her row of seats chasing a loose ball late in the third quarter before landing on the MSG Network statistician sitting behind her.

King later took to Twitter to thank Embiid for possessing the necessary athleticism to avoid colliding with her.

"It's good that I saved her life I guess, but someone else had to, like, take that," said Embiid of the statistician, according to ESPN. "I'm sorry about that."

Embiid finished with a double-double of 26 points and 14 rebounds in 34 minutes of action in the Sixers' 126-111 victory.
