Hart out with right knee tendinitis, to be re-evaluated after All-Star break

Los Angeles Lakers guard Josh Hart received a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection to treat tendinitis in his right knee and will be re-evaluated after the All-Star break, the team announced Monday.

Hart, 23, was available to play in Sunday's loss to the Philadelphia 76ers but didn't see any action. He's been dealing with knee issues for several weeks, according to NBA.com, and also sat out against the Indiana Pacers on Feb. 5.

The Villanova product is averaging 8.5 points, 3.9 boards, and 1.5 assists per contest through 54 games this season.
