Kevin Durant was named the Most Valuable Player of the NBA All-Star Game for the second time in his career Sunday night at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte.

The Golden State Warriors forward finished with 31 points on 10-of-15 shooting while also going 6-of-9 from behind the arc in a 178-164 victory for Team LeBron over Team Giannis. Durant also contributed seven rebounds, two assists, a steal, and a pair of rejections in 25 minutes of action.

"It's all sweet to me," Durant said when asked to rank his second All-Star MVP award, according to The Mercury News' Mark Medina. "It's hard to rank. Everything is special. But it was cool to be out there with the best players in the game. Keep trying to rack them up, I guess."

He now becomes the 14th player in NBA history to take home the hardware on multiple occasions. Bob Pettit and Kobe Bryant hold the record for the most All-Star MVP wins with four each, while Oscar Robertson, Michael Jordan, Shaquille O'Neal, and LeBron James all won it three times.

Sunday marked the 10th All-Star appearance of Durant's 12-year career. His 31-point performance moved him into fifth on the all-time All-Star scoring list with 250 total, one shy of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's 251.
