Kobi Simmons has agreed to a 10-day contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the team announced Sunday.

Simmons, 21, played four preseason games with the Cavaliers but has spent his 2018-19 campaign playing for their G League team, the Canton Charge. The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 17 points, 3.6 assists, and 1.2 steals in 32.3 minutes a game over 30 contests with the Charge.

Simmons made his NBA debut last season with the Memphis Grizzlies, appearing in 32 games - including 12 starts - while posting 6.1 points a night. He scored a career-high 17 points on 7-of-10 shooting against the Golden State Warriors in December 2017.

The undrafted University of Arizona product joins a Cavaliers team currently holding the league's worst record at 9-41.
