Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry confirmed he and his younger brother, Portland Trail Blazers guard Seth Curry, plan to participate in the Three-Point Contest in their hometown of Charlotte, N.C.

In terms of family history, my dad playing 10 years in Charlotte; being one of the original Hornets to now having the All-Star Game in Charlotte.
"The 3-point shootout will be fun with the Curry brothers. I know he's going to be gunning for me, though. That's the problem."
Steph was born in Akron, Ohio when his father Dell was a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers, but the family moved to North Carolina a few months later when the Hornets selected Dell in the 1988 expansion draft.
Both brothers attended high school in Charlotte before Steph headed off to nearby Davidson, where he led the nation in scoring and became a consensus All-American in 2009.
Seth attended Liberty but transferred closer to home after one season, attending Duke and becoming one of the most lethal 3-point specialists in college basketball.
The brothers are among the best outside shooters in the Association, with Seth ranked second in the league in 3-point accuracy (48.0 percent) and Steph tied for sixth (44.4 percent).
Steph trails only James Harden in 3-pointers made with 191 this season after missing 11 games through injury but is hitting a league-leading 5.2 triples per contest.
All-Star Saturday Night will take place Feb. 16.
