Kevin Durant is opening an after-school facility to help put students in his hometown of Prince George's County, Md. on the right track.

The Golden State Warriors star partnered with College Track on "The Durant Center," which is aimed at helping low-income and underserved students enroll and graduate from college, according to Emily Caron of Sports Illustrated. College Track is an organization that uses a 10-year plan to provide students with academic, financial, and social-emotional support from grade nine through college.

The facility will have an inaugural class of 69 local students.

"The full circle stuff that you dream about," Durant told Kent Babb of the Washington Post. "So many people that meant so much to me at that time, and to see my name on the building. Hopefully that inspires kids in the area."

The official opening of the facility will take place Wednesday, a day before the Warriors' game against the Washington Wizards.
