One of the first people to reach out to Stephen Curry following his comments about the moon landing earlier this week was retired NASA astronaut Scott Kelly, who offered to educate the Golden State Warriors star on the topic.

Curry took Kelly up on his offer Saturday, broadcasting their conversation on Instagram Live.

Kelly, a veteran of four space flights, discussed the dangers of joking about conspiracy theories - like the moon landing being faked or the Earth being flat - and told Curry what he can expect from his upcoming visit to NASA's lunar lab.

As a podcast guest, Curry said he didn't believe humans had ever been to the moon, but later said he'd been joking.
