If you fail once, try and try again.

After Friday night's three-way trade fell apart due to miscommunication, the Washington Wizards and Phoenix Suns were still trying to strike a deal centered on Trevor Ariza Saturday morning, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets were also pushing to get involved in the Ariza sweepstakes, according to Wojnarowski.

Friday's trade died when the third team, the Memphis Grizzlies, realized that the Suns expected to receive Dillon Brooks instead of MarShon Brooks as part of a package that would send Ariza to the Wizards. Washington was reportedly set to jettison Kelly Oubre to Memphis and Austin Rivers to Phoenix as part of the deal.

Ariza, who only becomes trade-eligible Saturday because he signed with the Suns as a free agent just last summer, is a valuable commodity on the trade market thanks to his veteran 3-and-D profile and expiring contract.
