The NBA announced that Phoenix Suns forward T.J. Warren has been fined $15,000 for "directing inappropriate language" toward an official after his ejection from Monday's overtime loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.

After being whistled for an offensive foul late in the second quarter, Warren drew a second technical foul after saying something to the referee, triggering his early exit from the contest.

"I'm not going to make a comment on the call," Suns coach Igor Kokoskov said of the sequence, according to the Arizona Republic's Duane Rankin. "I think he overreacted and the referee has got to use his judgment if that's in the heat of the moment or if it was personal. It was kind of non-appropriate behavior and the second one was the same thing."

It was Warren's second ejection in just under three weeks for aggressively disputing an offensive foul call. The 25-year-old was also given the boot in the Suns' Nov. 25 clash against the Detroit Pistons.
