The Cleveland Cavaliers are expecting to be without center Tristan Thompson for two-to-four weeks as he recovers from a left foot sprain, the team announced Tuesday.

Thompson left Monday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks after landing awkwardly while battling for a rebound in the third quarter.

The 27-year-old has started every game for the Cavaliers this season and is averaging 12 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in just over 30 minutes per outing. He currently ranks second in the league with five offensive rebounds per game.

Playing in his eighth season since being drafted fourth overall in 2011, Thompson's the longest-tenured player on the roster, having outlasted four head coaches and a pair of general managers in Cleveland.
