Miami Heat guard Josh Richardson was fined $25,000 on Monday for throwing his shoe into the stands during Sunday's 113-97 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Richardson was frustrated after he felt contact as he was elevating for a dunk, but no call was made. He was whistled for a foul seconds later and stormed off to the sideline, tossing his shoe into the crowd. He was assessed a technical foul and ejected with 6:31 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Richardson is in the midst of a career year, averaging 20.4 points, four rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game.
