In a clip from his upcoming documentary series "Shut Up and Dribble," LeBron James says he immediately thought of his sons, Bronny and Bryce, after learning about the February 2012 shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.

James and his former Miami Heat teammates honored Martin in 2012 by posing for a photo in hoodies, which is what Martin was wearing when he was shot.

"Shut Up and Dribble" airs Saturday at 9 p.m. ET on Showtime.
