Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic has been fined $25,000 by the NBA for using "derogatory and offensive language" in a postgame interview.

The 23-year-old Serbian made his remarks following Denver's 108-107 overtime victory over the Chicago Bulls on Oct. 31 at United Center.

Jokic used a homophobic phrase when talking about Bulls rookie Wendell Carter Jr.

The Nuggets big man is averaging 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 7.7 assists through 10 appearances this season.
