Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart laid down some bars to celebrate the four-year, $52-million contract extension he signed with the team over the summer.
Smart recorded a freestyle track about the new deal with his friend Trey Davis and rapper iAmCompton in Los Angeles in August, according to TMZ Sports. The track, called "52M," and accompanying music video were reportedly never supposed to be released but were made public after enough people heard about the freestyle.
The track includes lines like, "52 mil, that's a new deal, 13 a year, n----, look how I live. Penthouse suite, n----, that's a new feel."
