Luka Doncic's and Trae Young's respective NBA careers will forever be linked following a draft-night trade. While fans and analysts may want to compare the two game by game as a result, the rookies don't seem intent to one-up each other for bragging rights.

Young made history Sunday in a 133-111 Atlanta Hawks victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers by becoming just the third rookie since 2000 (LeBron James and Stephen Curry) to record at least 35 points (35) and 10 assists (11) in a game.

Doncic, whose Dallas Mavericks had the night off, took to Twitter to congratulate Young on a job well done.

Young responded shortly thereafter, returning the love to the Slovenian standout.

Doncic was selected third overall by Atlanta on June 21 and then traded to Dallas in exchange for the draft rights to Young, who was taken fifth overall, as well as a protected first-round pick in 2019.
