The Salt Lake City Stars made former NBA center Willie Reed the top pick of the 2018 G League Draft on Saturday.

Reed was released by the Chicago Bulls in February, the same day he was acquired in a trade with the Detroit Pistons. The center served a six-game suspension last season over a domestic violence incident in the summer of 2017. The 28-year-old averaged 4.9 points and 3.8 rebounds in 152 career NBA games.

Former Houston Rockets center Chinanu Onuaku was picked second by the Greensboro Swarm. The Louisville product is best known for his use of the underhanded free throw.

At age 36, longtime NBA forward Hakim Warrick was selected ninth by the Delaware Blue Coats. Warrick last played in the NBA in 2013 but has made several international stops since. He told the Syracuse Post-Standard in July that he had no plans to stop playing basketball.

Warrick previously played 526 NBA games with six teams, averaging 9.4 points.

The final player picked in Saturday's draft was former NBA big man DeJuan Blair, taken by the Austin Spurs. The 29-year-old last played for the Washington Wizards in 2016 and was originally selected by the San Antonio Spurs in the second round of the 2009 NBA Draft.
