The New Orleans Pelicans are bringing back an old face, signing Tim Frazier to a deal ahead of the season, the team announced.

Frazier was invited to training camp by the Milwaukee Bucks, but was among the team's final roster cuts ahead of the season. The 6-foot-1 point guard has 190 games of NBA action to his name, including 81 with the Pelicans from 2015-17.

In 2016-17, Frazier started 35 of his 65 appearances for New Orleans, mostly in Jrue Holiday's early-season absence, averaging 7.1 points, 5.2 assists, and 2.7 rebounds in 23.5 minutes per outing.

In a subsequent move, the Pelicans waived forward Troy Williams
