Bogdan Bogdanovic will once again have to undergo a procedure on his left knee.

The Sacramento Kings guard exited Serbia's World Cup qualifier against Estonia on Monday early in the first quarter due to discomfort in his knee. Diagnosed with a minor injury, Bogdanovic will undergo an arthroscopic procedure in New York next week to treat it, the Kings announced Friday.

The 26-year-old had an MRI following his rookie campaign which revealed a slight tear of the medial meniscus in his left knee. Bogdanovic went under the knife on April 24, with a timeline for his return set at eight-to-10 weeks.

He started 53 of his 78 appearances in 2017-18, averaging 11.8 points, 2.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 0.9 steals on 44.6 percent shooting for the 27-win Kings.

Bogdanovic took home the NBA Rising Stars Challenge Most Valuable Player award in February and was eventually named to the All-Rookie Second Team for his production.
