Although LaVar Ball remained confident publicly that LiAngelo Ball would be selected in the 2018 NBA draft, behind the scenes, he knew the chances were slim.
On the latest episode of "Ball in the Family," the Ball brothers' agent, Harrison Gaines, shared the tough news with LaVar and LiAngelo. Gaines said (starts around the 8:30 mark) the only realistic shot at getting drafted was "Phoenix at 59," but "besides that, I think it's gonna be tough."
Gaines then asked if LiAngelo wanted to stay in the draft, which he did.
As expected, LiAngelo went undrafted. He then joined the Junior Basketball Association's Los Angeles Ballers to become part of the team that won the first-ever JBA Championship.
