Gallinari named MVP as Team World beats Team Africa

Team World came away with a 96-92 win over Team Africa Saturday at the NBA Africa Game in Pretoria, South Africa.
Los Angeles Clippers forward Danilo Gallinari of Italy - the only non-U.S. player on Team World - was named MVP after scoring 23 points on 9-of-10 shooting, including a perfect 3-of-3 from deep.
Gallinari was limited to just 21 games in 2017-18 and last scored over 20 points in a game in February.
Joel Embiid led the way for Team Africa with a game-high 24 points.
