Ten-time All-Star forward Carmelo Anthony has cleared waivers after his release from the Atlanta Hawks, sources told Yahoo Sports' Shams Charania on Wednesday.

Anthony will reportedly receive his full $27.9-million deal from the Hawks, less the $2.4-million veteran's minimum contract he is expected to receive from the Houston Rockets.

The 34-year-old was traded to Atlanta in July along with a 2022 first-round draft pick in a three-team deal that included the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Philadelphia 76ers.
