Report: Harris returns to Mavericks on 1-year deal

The Dallas Mavericks have found their mentor for the young backcourt of Dennis Smith Jr. and Luka Doncic.
Reserve point guard Devin Harris is returning to the Mavericks on a one-year deal at the veteran's minimum, league sources told Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.
The 14-year veteran will begin his third tour of duty with the Mavericks after he was dealt to the Denver Nuggets at the trade deadline last season.
Playing in 71 games between both teams last year, Harris averaged 8.4 points and 2.1 assists per contest.
