After having his qualifying offer rescinded by the Chicago Bulls, David Nwaba is free to go where he pleases as an unrestricted free agent, and the Cleveland Cavaliers could very well end up being his next home.

The Cavs have reached out to the 25-year-old guard, who is reportedly interested in signing with the franchise, league sources told Cleveland.com's Joe Vardon.

Nwaba was tendered his $1.7-million qualifying offer at the end of June before it was rescinded July 12.

He made 70 appearances during the regular season for the 27-win Bulls, averaging 7.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 0.8 steals in 23.5 minutes per game.

Cleveland has also reportedly been in talks with both Trevor Booker and Luke Babbitt, although no deal with either forward is imminent.
