Charles Oakley was arrested in Las Vegas on July 8 after he was "suspected of adding to or reducing his wager on a gambling game after the outcome was known," the Nevada Gaming Board told TMZ Sports.

The former NBA strong man reportedly attempted to pick up a $100 chip at a casino after he recognized he was about to lose.

While TMZ reports that being convicted of crime of this nature comes with a sentence of one-to-six years in prison, a source from Oakley's circle said: "This is an insignificant matter that will be quickly resolved."

It's unknown what game Oakley was playing at the time of the incident.
