Rudy Guy is the first current NBA player to sign with Puma as the brand continues to build its newly constructed basketball division, according to ESPN's Nick DePaula.

Puma has recently signed several top prospects, including Deandre Ayton, Marvin Bagley III, Zhaire Smith, and Michael Porter Jr.

Gay recently declined his $8.8-million player option with the San Antonio Spurs and will become an unrestricted free agent on July 1.

He averaged 11.5 points and 5.1 boards in 57 games in his lone season in San Antonio.
