Puma is making a huge splash in its return to basketball.

Having already added Marvin Bagley III, the German outfitter also announced the signing of likely No. 1 pick DeAndre Ayton to its roster on Monday.

Ayton made it official on Instagram.

Ayton revealed in an interview with Master Tesfatsion of Bleacher Report that while he was thrilled to join Puma, it was also a financial decision on his part since Puma gave him the best offer.

"Nike is Nike. Adidas is Adidas. I've played in their circuits and stuff like that, but now it's a business. You don't want just product. You're not a kid anymore. You're really trying to get bank. That's about it," Ayton said.
