Iman Shumpert has taken the money that was on the table.
The Sacramento Kings guard has opted into his $11-million player option for the 2018-19 season, league sources told Yahoo Sports' Shams Charania.
The 27-year-old was acquired by Sacramento from the Cleveland Cavaliers ahead of February's trade deadline in a three-team deal that included the Utah Jazz.
Shumpert didn't appear in a single game for the Kings upon arriving.
He averaged 4.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.2 assists on 37.9 percent shooting in 14 appearances for Cleveland prior to the trade.
