Kevin Durant had just finished single-handedly putting the Cleveland Cavaliers' NBA title chances on life support with a 43-point performance in Game 3 of the Finals, and for his efforts, the Golden State Warriors superstar was met with a double bird.

As Durant sat at the podium addressing the media following the Warriors' 110-102 victory at Quicken Loans Arena, Cavaliers big man Kendrick Perkins stuck his head in the room and raised two middle fingers in Durant's direction, according to The Athletic's Jason Lloyd.

In response, Durant mouthed some obscene remarks back at his former Oklahoma City Thunder teammate.

"Always good to be around Perk, especially in this environment when he's at his best with his one-liners, antics," Durant told Slater. "I knew something was coming when he turned the corner. Didn't know the double birds was coming. That's Perk."

On Durant's 43-point night, Perkins seemingly gave the four-time scoring champion a compliment as only he could.

"Man, KD. I want to beat him, but he's just a motherf-----," the 33-year-old told ESPN's Chris Haynes.

The Warriors took exception to Perkins' antics in Game 2 when he refused to move from his spot on the bench as Stephen Curry backed into him on the sidelines, with Curry's teammates worrying that he could have injured his ankle.
