Houston Rockets guard Chris Paul suffered a right hamstring injury in the final minutes of Game 5 in the Western Conference finals. He was taken out of the game with 22.4 seconds remaining and didn't return.

Rockets head coach Mike D'Antoni was unsure of the point guard's status for Game 6. "He'll be evaluated (Friday)," he told reporters postgame, according to Ben Golliver of Sports Illustrated. "They'll do whatever they can do. If he's there (for Game 6), great, good for him. ... His spirits aren't great. He wanted to be out there."

D'Antoni added that if Paul is unable to play in Game 6, Eric Gordon will take on his playmaking duties next to James Harden, ESPN's Marc J. Spears reports.

Houston won 98-94 to go up 3-2 over the Golden State Warriors.
