It took Chris Paul 13 seasons to reach a conference finals, so he doesn't plan on letting a sore foot get in the way.

"Yeah, it's as good as it's going to be right now," Paul told reporters about his nagging foot injury after his Houston Rockets' Game 4 win against the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday, per ASAP Sports.

"But for us it's not about that. It's about going out there and getting stops and making big plays when we needed to."

The 33-year-old point guard has been dealing with soreness in his right foot for a while now. After Game 4, Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni said that Paul was feeling better and relayed a prophetic anecdote from earlier in the week.

"I called him after Game 3, and he (Paul) said, 'Coach, I'm telling you, if I can get my foot right, we'll beat these guys,'" D'Antoni told reporters. "Lo and behold, he got his foot right."

Paul had his best game of the series so far in Houston's 95-92 win on Tuesday, scoring 27 points and making 5-of-9 from deep. The Rockets and Warriors are now even at two games apiece in the Western Conference finals, with Game 5 set for Thursday night in Houston.
