There's ugly starts to a basketball game, and then there's what the Houston Rockets suffered through in Game 4 of the Western Conference finals on Tuesday night.

Every starter for the Golden State Warriors managed to get on the scoreboard in the first quarter before the Rockets notched a single point.

Houston missed its first eight attempts, while the reigning champions went 5-of-9 from the field, with one bucket each from Draymond Green, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Kevon Looney, who replaced an injured Andre Iguodala.

It wasn't until there was 6:42 remaining in the period that Houston converted a field goal, with NBA Most Valuable Player favorite James Harden sinking a layup off a Golden State turnover.

Even up 12-2, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr elected to call a timeout to lecture his players over the careless possession.
