The Sacramento Kings and Atlanta Hawks are likely to pass on drafting European sensation Luka Doncic in favor of American frontcourt talent, according to ESPN's Jonathan Givony.

The Phoenix Suns won mid-May's NBA Draft Lottery, granting them the first overall selection in June's draft. If they choose against drafting Doncic and the Kings and Hawks don't select the Slovenian star at No. 2 and 3, respectively, he could fall to the Memphis Grizzlies at No. 4 or the Dallas Mavericks at No. 5.

For now, teams must await Doncic's official decision to join the frontcourt-heavy draft pool.

"I will tell about all at the right time," Doncic said after winning the EuroLeague championship with Real Madrid on Sunday, according to Givony. "Right now I just want to celebrate with my team. Soon I will tell."

Doncic, 19, finished an unprecedented campaign this season, snagging EuroLeague MVP and Final Four MVP honors - the youngest to ever win either award in EuroLeague history.

The 6-foot-8 point guard is currently slotted as the No. 2 prospect on ESPN's Top 100 list.
