Houston Rockets guard Chris Paul has been tapped to host the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Sports Awards this summer.

The slime-soaked awards show, which honors kids' favorite athletes and the year's most memorable sports moments, will air July 22 on Nickelodeon.

Paul promises to "bring the fun, the slime, and the most epic stunts in Kids' Choice Sports history" as host. He takes over for Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, who hosted the show the past three years.
