Dwight Howard: (Shoulder) Out Sunday

Howard will not play Sunday at Detroit due to a sore right shoulder, the Los Angeles Times reports.

After tearing the torn labrum in his shoulder during Wednesday's loss at Phoenix, Howard has now missed the Lakers' past two contests. Still, it was an encouraging sign that he joined the team on their current eight-game road trip, so we may soon see him on the court. Pau Gasol will again start at center, his most comfortable position, with Earl Clark manning the four. Meanwhile, consider Howard day-to-day.
