The Indiana Pacers have accomplished the unthinkable.

With Thursday's 126-106 victory over the Golden State Warriors, the Pacers became the first team to complete a regular-season sweep of the mighty Warriors since Steve Kerr took over as head coach in 2014.

The feat is a testament to how surprisingly well the Pacers have been playing, thanks in large part to a breakout season from Victor Oladipo, who had 21 points, seven assists, and three steals in the latest triumph and led his side to a 92-81 win at Oracle Arena last week. Currently seeded fifth in the East, Indiana is looking to move up to claim home-court advantage in the first round.

Of course, the stat says more about the dominance of the Kerr-led Warriors, who've made three straight NBA Finals appearances and won the title twice over that span. Under the 2016 Coach of the Year, the Dubs have a 264-60 (.815) record in the regular season and have gone 47-15 (75.8) in the postseason.

Though it won't affect his club in the standings, Kerr said he was embarrassed with the effort in the latest loss to Indiana. The Warriors are locked in at the West's No. 2 seed for the playoffs.

It should be noted that the Pacers only see the Warriors twice during the regular season (versus three or four matchups for Western Conference opponents), and that two-time MVP Stephen Curry was absent for both meetings.
