Best clutch performance this week: KD, LeBron, Dame, or DeRozan?

This is the week for coming up clutch, apparently.

Kevin Durant became the fourth superstar this week to deliver an incredible performance in crunch time. He joined the likes of DeMar DeRozan, LeBron James, and Damian Lillard in putting on a show when it mattered most.

Durant scored 14 straight on Thursday night, helping the Golden State Warriors complete a thrilling comeback over the San Antonio Spurs. Here's how his performance ranks among the rest.

4. Durant is unguardable

Durant stepped up for the Warriors after Stephen Curry re-aggravated his ankle injury. He torched Spurs forward Kyle Anderson to complete the comeback and keep pace with the Houston Rockets.

The only question is, why didn't the Spurs ever double him? Staying at home on Klay Thompson is understandable, but why not send help off Draymond Green, Kevon Looney, or Shaun Livingston? That was a rare mistake on Gregg Popovich's part.

3. LeBron is ridiculous

The best part of James' takeover was that even he couldn't believe the shots he was making.

James scored 10 straight points to help the Cleveland Cavaliers emerge victorious in the Mile High City, and each successive shot was harder than the last. He started with a routine driving and-1, then hit a pull-up three, drilled a fadeaway over a 7-footer, and capped it off with a one-legged baseline jumper over a perfect contest from Wilson Chandler.

None of that was stopping the King. But then again, the Nuggets are the fifth-worst defense in the league, so how impressive was this, anyway?

2. Lilllard time

Lillard is expressionless when the game is close, which is a sign of his unflinching focus and ultimate confidence.

Everyone knows he's going to shoot, and yet nobody could stop him. Lillard torched the Lakers with five triples at the Staples Center - including a pull-up dagger from the logo - to extend Portland's win streak to eight games.

The only knock against Lillard is that he got his buckets against a rookie in Lonzo Ball, who was apparently unfamiliar with Lillard's resume. Now he knows to get a hand up next time as soon as Lillard crosses half-court.

1. DeRozan dunks, DeRozan delivers

DeRozan scored 18 points through the fourth quarter and overtime to help the first-seeded Toronto Raptors become the first team to clinch a playoff spot as part of his 42-point performance on Wednesday.

Nevermind the Kobe-esque jumpers DeRozan was hitting, he got the top spot in this ranking because he practically ended Anthony Tolliver's career while forcing overtime. DeRozan went the full length of the court with his team down one to throw down the dunk of the year with a vicious two-handed jam at the end of regulation.

And to top it off, DeRozan found Fred VanVleet wide open in the corner with a beautiful drive-and-dish for the game-winner in overtime.
