Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown left Thursday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves after an extremely awkward fall in the third quarter.

Brown skied for an ambitious dunk and lost his grip on the rim afterward. His momentum caused him to flip backward and land hard on his back.

Brown was dazed for a few minutes as he remained on the court, but managed to walk off under his own power. He was treated to applause by Timberwolves fans as he disappeared down the tunnel and taken to the hospital for further testing.

Luckily, Brown was discharged and was able to rejoin his teammates in time for their flight back to Boston, according to 98.5 The Sports Hub play-by-play announcer Sean Grande.

The former No. 3 overall pick is averaging 14.1 points and 5.2 rebounds in 31 minutes per game in his second season with the Celtics.
