Los Angeles Lakers starting guard Josh Hart suffered a small fracture in his left hand during Wednesday's practice, according to Yahoo Sports' Shams Charania.
No timetable for a return has been set as the team is evaluates its surgical and non-surgical options.
It's a tough blow for the Lakers, as Hart has developed into a solid piece of their rotation. Over his last 10 games - all as a starter - the 6-foot-5 rookie is averaging 12.2 points and 7.4 rebounds while shooting 48.9 percent from three.
On the season, Hart is averaging 6.6 points and 3.7 boards in 21.5 minutes per game.
It is uncertain at the moment how the Lakers will adjust their rotation for Thursday's game against the Miami Heat.
