The 5 best dunks from the Rising Stars game

Action Images

As always, the Rising Stars game had plenty of fun, high-flying action, with just the smallest hint of defense.

Team World dominated the game from start to finish, winning 155-124, but Team USA dominated the highlight reel.

There were a few missed gems that surely would have joined the list if they were finished. Regardless, the fans weren't disappointed.

5. Embiid spins, Embiid slams

Joel Embiid is certainly a deserving All-Star selection but it was fun to see him play against almost inferior talent. For a 7-foot-0, 250-pound monster to handle the basketball and have enough body control to fluidly spin and slam the way he did is so exciting.

4. JB Smoooooove

It's hard to look as good putting it through your legs as Jaylen Brown did here. He was forced to take an awkward route to the rim that could have easily disrupted him (because Buddy Hield tried way too hard) but still makes it look as slick as possible.

3. Half-court heave to DSJ

Reminder: Dennis Smith Jr. has a 48-inch vertical - tied for the highest in NBA history. This dunk is your proof. Shout out to Donovan Mitchell for the fantastic pass from half-court, but that finish was nasty. Smith looks like he can touch the sky with both hands.

2. Mitchell with a preview

Donovan Mitchell can fly. On first watch, the ball looks like it went too high for the 6-foot-3 rookie to catch off the backboard. Mitchell not only catches it with ease, he throws it down with thunderous power. Saturday night should be so fun.

1. Oh me, oh my

For a third time, we need to give Mitchell credit. He tossed an amazing pass to Smith and to himself in the previous two slams, but this one was best of all. Backwards no-look pass over his head?

Yet, John Collins somehow made this even better. Just look at what he does to that poor rim! The catch, the finish, the ferocity. Terrifying stuff from the rookie.
