Report: Williams, Mitchell to participate in Skills Challenge

Lou Williams had a bone to pick about not being named an All-Star, but it seems he'll be in L.A. for the festivities anyway. The Clippers guard will participate in the All-Star weekend Skills Challenge, sources told ESPN's Chris Haynes.

Utah Jazz rookie Donovan Mitchell will also participate, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

There are eight spots in the Skills Challenge, which takes place on All-Star Saturday Night. The official announcement of participants is expected next week, along with Dunk Contest and Three-Point Contest lineups.

Williams quickly chimed in that he was still available for the big game on Sunday.

With DeMarcus Cousins' season-ending injury, there is a spot open on Team LeBron.
