Lillard, Embiid named Players of the Week

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid and Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard were named as the Players of the Week.

Embiid guided the Sixers to a perfect 3-0 week while averaging 29.7 points per game on 54.2 percent shooting from the field. He tacked on 12 boards, 3.3 assists and 1.7 blocks while also being named to the All-Star Game.

Lillard was not recognized as an All-Star, but he's played like one while leading the Blazers to a 3-0 week of their own. The 27-year-old averaged 29.3 points on 52.7 percent shooting to go along with five rebounds and eight assists per game.
