The struggling Cleveland Cavaliers appear to have some reinforcements on the way, as former MVP Derrick Rose is planning to return Thursday night versus the Orlando Magic.

"You know, I'm feeling good," Rose told reporters Wednesday, according to Cleveland.com. "Tomorrow looks like it's a go, but I'll go and see how I feel tonight (and) tomorrow morning - make sure my body's alright. Got to make sure I hydrate, stretch, do all the little things so that tomorrow I give myself a chance to actually play in a game."

Rose has been sidelined since injuring his ankle Nov. 7. He then took time away from the team to reportedly evaluate his future in basketball before rejoining the team in early December.

In seven appearances this season (all starts), the Rose has averaged 14.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.7 assists, while shooting 47 percent from the field.

Rose will find a different role awaiting him upon his return to action. Isaiah Thomas, who was out to start the year while dealing with his own injury, is cemented as the Cavaliers' starting point guard when active, although he's yet to play on the second night of a back-to-back.
