Kentavious Caldwell-Pope's restriction on out-of-state travel will soon be lifted.

The Los Angeles Lakers guard will be released from the Seal Beach Detention Center on Monday morning, league sources told ESPN's Chris Haynes. As a result, Caldwell-Pope will be allowed to travel with his team for games outside of California.

He had been serving a 25-day sentence, stemming from a probation violation for a March arrest on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Ultimately pleading to a lesser offense that came with a 12-month probation period, Caldwell-Pope had that reduced by completing his sentence.

His work-release program let him take part in practices and games at Staples Center.

Caldwell-Pope was forced to miss four of his team's last five road outings, though. He was allowed to compete against the Golden State Warriors out in the Bay Area days before Christmas.

Through 32 appearances in his first year with the organization, KCP has averaged 13.3 points on 40.1 percent shooting, five rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.7 steals for the 11-27 Lakers, who have lost nine in a row.
