The Los Angeles Clippers will be without their starting shooting guard for the next little while.

Austin Rivers recently underwent further testing after injuring his Achilles on Dec. 29 against the Los Angeles Lakers. He's now been diagnosed with a posterior right ankle impingement, and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.

C.J. Williams has gotten the start at the two spot over the last two games with Rivers out.

The Clippers host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night, and will remain at Staples Center on Saturday and next Monday when they take on the Golden State Warriors and Atlanta Hawks, respectively.

The team is 2-2 on the season when Rivers doesn't suit up. The 25-year-old is averaging career highs in points (15.8), assists (3.6), steals (1.3), and minutes (32.7).
