LeBron, Westbrook named Players of the Month

LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Russell Westbrook of the Oklahoma City Thunder have been named NBA Players of the Month for December.
James was his usual dominant self in December, averaging 27.5 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 10.3 assists per game. His Cavaliers began the month 9-2 before dropping their last three games. He also won the honor in November.
Westbrook finished the month with a triple-double average of 27.8 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 10.6 assists while helping the Thunder recover from a slow start to the season. After going 8-12 through 20 games, Oklahoma City rebounded with a 12-5 mark in December.
