Ball brothers' Lithuanian jerseys to be sold on Amazon in January
The Ball family has become a marketing machine no matter where they play basketball - even in small-town Lithuania.
LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball will have their respective jerseys for the Lithuanian club Prienu Vytautas available for interested American buyers to purchase on Amazon in early January, a team official told Yahoo Sports.
The club shipped approximately 500 jerseys, split between both brothers, to an Amazon warehouse in the U.S., and will likely continue doing so according to the report.
Despite playing in a city of about 10,000 people, Prienu Vytautas will likely receive plenty of attention from North American basketball fans, and the deal to sign the brothers could be seen as more for exposure than basketball purposes.
LiAngelo and LaMelo are both expected to report to Lithuania on Jan. 3 and make their debuts in a Baltic League game on Jan. 9.
