Boston Celtics forward Marcus Morris is set to miss a chunk of time as he and the team work to get his bothersome left knee healthy.

Morris told The Boston Herald's Steve Bulpett that he could be out "a couple of weeks" as he rehabs the injury that's already cost him 12 games this season.

Morris sat out the first eight games of the season, but his knee has remained an issue since his return. He's still finishing really effectively around the rim, and is posting the highest rebound, assist, free-throw, and usage rates of his career. But his jump shot has been off, and his lateral quicks have suffered, making him one of the rare weak links in the Celtics' league-best defensive chain.

For the season, Boston has been 11.1 points per 100 possessions worse with him on the floor.
